Terms of Service
These terms cover garage door repair and related services provided by Midnight Grid Garage ("we", "us") in Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Booking a service or using this website means you agree to them. They're written plainly on purpose.
Bookings & quotes
- Online bookings and texted photos are requests — we confirm the time and the quote path before any work begins.
- Estimates are based on the information and photos you provide. The final price can only change if new work is found and you approve it on site.
- Prices shown on the site are typical starting ranges, not firm quotes.
Deposits
- Some bookings may ask for a small deposit to hold a slot. Deposits are applied to your final invoice.
- If we cancel or can't complete the work, the deposit is refunded in full.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice or aren't home for a confirmed appointment, the deposit may be retained to cover the reserved time.
Payment
- Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Online invoice links are secure and optional.
- Overdue balances may pause warranty coverage until settled.
Workmanship & warranty
Our labour warranty and parts terms are described on our warranty policy page. Warranty covers the specific work performed and does not cover new, unrelated failures or damage from misuse, weather, or third-party work.
Safety
Garage door springs and cables are under high tension and can cause serious injury. If a spring is broken or a cable is loose, stop using the opener and keep people and pets away from the door until it is serviced.
Liability
We carry liability insurance and work to professional standards. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, or for damage caused by continuing to operate a door we advised against using.
